My original introduction to bodywork and training was at the Pittsburgh School of Pain Management for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (1999). This extensive training has provided me with an advanced level of therapeutic skills, which have benefited my pain patients.

I am passionate about learning so I have added to my skills with the National Certification Medical Massage, Judith Delaney's NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT), ETPS training (Electro Therapeutic Point Stimulation), Medical Massage and insurance billing. I am also a Certified Migraine Prevention Coach.

With these and other modalities, my focus has always been pain management and correction of muscle dysfunction. Many pain complaints are due to dysfunction of muscle and soft tissue, which can be addressed using Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Medical Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy and Therapeutic Exercise. I work with chiropractors and physicians to provide, in most cases, far better pain management than any pharmaceutical drugs could provide.

Migraines, headaches and upper body pain complaints are extremely common. Before my training in these were my own pain complaints and so these areas have become my specialty. Over the counter and prescription pain medications and anti-inflammatory medications seldom work for long-term relief. Addressing the trigger points and other soft tissue dysfunction actually REMOVES the cause of the pain, stiffness or dysfunction in many cases. During treatment I will ask you to participate in your well-being. There may be changes that need to be made to keep the pain from coming back if it is due to contributing factors.

I will do local house calls and I can come to your home or office for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy or massage.  I am also available for events such as employee (or customer) recognition, parties or other gatherings. I bring a table for house calls, but I can come with an especially designed massage chair and do fully clothed chair massage instead. The chair works better for a work-place massage or anywhere that privacy is not possible.

As a Nationally Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist and Certified Medical Massage Therapist I can bill your automobile insurance for injuries sustained in an Auto accident. I am experienced with working with doctors and the auto insurance companies. In Pennsylvania we cannot bill health insurance. Many patients are reimbursed by their Health Savings Plans.

Please call if you have any questions.  I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.
