Membership Levels
  • Professional

    Membership Level Requirements

    • Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist Certification Board for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists, CMTPT, MTPT OR a graduate (provide proof) from an in-person, hands-on listed training program (complete FULL hands-on program) OR grandfathered school graduate AND
    • Fulfillment of continuing education each membership year of 20 hour CEU’s
  • Associate Professional

    Membership Level Requirements

    • CMTPT, or MTPT who has completed or graduated from in-person, hands-on listed training program (provide proof) (complete FULL hands-on program) OR a grandfathered school graduate and has not fulfilled the 20 CEUs.
  • Associate Professional - Allied

    Membership Level Requirements

    • Licensed healthcare professional, who has studied myofascial trigger point therapy. This level may include MD, DC, OT, PT, Nurse, Massage Therapist, LMT, Neil-Asher Technique, other body-workers, etc. This also includes computer based and book based learning programs. (some states have no license for MT, in those states, no license is required) Please indicate your training in myofascial trigger point therapy or source of education.
  • Student

    Membership Level Requirements

    • Currently attending a listed training programs in myofascial trigger point therapy
    • Does not include subscription to Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapists or directory listing
    • You may upgrade at any time during that year to the full memberships
    • Student discount on Convention/Conference
    • Eligible to serve on any committee
  • Supporting

    Membership Level Requirements

    • Friend of the NAMTPT: patients, organizations, supportive professionals
    • $10 discount to annual convention
    • Does not include subscription to Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapists or directory listing
