The primarily lab courses, where you will be taught specific hands-on techniques that you can apply immediately in your setting. Once you have completed course 1, you are ready to go beyond the basics. In courses 2-5 you will learn specific referral patterns and treatment techniques for individual muscles. You will also learn additional and advanced myofascial release techniques.

Beyond Trigger Points Seminars
Program Instructor:
Cathy Cohen, LMT, CMTPT
Massage therapists can expect to have a greater understanding of the Travell and Simons' approach to myofascial pain and dysfunction. Mastery of specialized techniques such as ice and stretch, trigger point release, postural assessment and myofascial manipulation will be gained. The lecture portion of each unit is delivered as a live teleseminar or web broadcast. The distance learning program can stand alone for Florida and National CE hours or can be combined with weekend hands-on workshops.
